The CFA Program curriculum is designed to provide you with the expertise and real-world skills in investment analysis that will help you begin or advance your career in finance. Candidates take on the CFA Program exams for the final, prized result: becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). The CFA charter confirms your mastery of investment concepts and dedication to promoting ethics in the financial sector.


The IUP Accounting and Finance Career Fair has evolved into the largest career fair in the region geared towards accounting and finance majors. In addition to IUP accounting and finance majors, this event is open to MBA students as well as accounting and finance majors from approximately 30 other area universities.


Substitution: You must have a minimum of 18 credit hours in core accounting, auditing, and/or taxation. Up to six semester credit hours of core coursework in finance, money and banking, economics, or business may be substituted for accounting, auditing, and/or taxation credits on a credit-for-credit basis to reach the 24 required credit hours. If you meet the minimum qualifications under B or C above, there is no substitution for the required experience.
